In their new npj Regenerative Medicine paper, PSEC researcher Dr Moyra Lawrence, from the University of Cambridge, in partnership with other researchers from the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute and the Cell and Gene Therapy Catapult, describe the process analysis of megakaryocyte manufacture from iPSCs with a view to manufacturing in vitro platelets to European GMP for transfusion. These general principles will help other cell therapy developers on their translational journey.
