UKRMP2 Applicant Workshop: 3 May 2017
Thursday, March 23, 2017
The sponsors of the UK Regenerative Medicine Platform (UKRMP), the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC), Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Medical Research Council (MRC) will be launching a call for the next stage of the Platform – ‘UKRMP2’ at the end of March. As such we are hosting a ‘UKRMP2’ applicant workshop on 3 May 2017 from 11.00–16.00 (refreshments from 10.30) at the Amba Hotel Charing Cross, The Strand, London, WC2N 5HX.
The objective of this workshop is to assist applicants in developing high-quality applications by:
- Providing applicants with the aims of the UKRMP
- Providing applicants with the remit and key requirements of the UKRMP2 call
- Providing applicants with an overview of the requirements of the UKRMP2 application form and process
- Offering an opportunity for applicants to raise questions with the UKRMP team
Please note that places are limited and whilst registrations will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis, multiple registrations from individual institutions may be restricted. Please liaise with colleagues before registering to ensure the most appropriate representation from your institution or collaboration. Attendees must be from group leader level or above.
Registration is available through the Eventbrite link below:
The password required to register is UKRMP2 and the registration deadline is 5 April.
Where can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Please contact Helen Page, email@example.com with any queries.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
This is not necessary as a list of confirmed attendees will be held by the organiser.
The UKRMP team will hold 1:1 surgery sessions with consortia applicants in the afternoon. Please indicate when registering if you would be interested in attending a session and provide the names of any of your team who will join with you; a maximum of 4 people may attend each session. Please note that places are limited therefore, dependent on the number of requests received, surgeries will need to be managed to ensure a balanced representation.
Travel and Subsistence
Please note that attendance at this workshop is entirely voluntary and therefore we will not be able to reimburse travel or subsistence expenses on this occasion.
